The pressure sensor is connected to an amplifier to amplify the pressure sensor output, which is typically in the range of microvolts to millivolts. The PPG sensor is an optical sensor, which detects the pulsatile and non-pulsatile flow of blood, and is connected to a two-stage band pass filter. The output of the two sensors is provided to the control unit. The display unit displays the values of the physiological parameters computed by the control unit. The system monitors systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), pulse rate (PR), the perfusion index (PI), the saturation of peripheral oxygen (SpO2) and concentration of haemoglobin (Hb).en-USCOMMUNICATIONMulti-parameter patient monitoring systemPatents Granted427385[3911/MUM/2014]123456789/505
