dc.description.abstract This article is an addendum to [2024 EPL 145 39001]. In the original article, we discussed how a variable brane tension could explain the late time cosmic acceleration of the universe. In this article, we extend the results to include early-time cosmic acceleration, i.e., inflation. Thus, this work unifies the early and late-time cosmic acceleration within a single framework. We also discuss how this proposal can aid in the formation of Primordial Black Holes (PBHs).
