dc.description.abstract We show that the area-quantized black holes have non-zero dynamical tidal Love numbers for frequencies differing from the characteristic frequencies associated with the quantization spectrum. Intriguingly, the details of the quantization model can be determined by studying the spectrum of the dynamical tidal Love numbers. This provides a crucial observational tool to distinguish various models of the area-quantized black holes and also the area-quantized black holes from other exotic compact objects. We further provide implications for future gravitational wave detectors, e.g., LISA.
