Abstract
The present disclosure discloses a system(1000) for performing minimally invasive surgery (MIS). The system(1000) comprises an operating table(100) for a patient to be operated; an operating frame(200) mounted on the operating table (100); one or more MIS robotic arms(300) mounted on the operating frame(200), the one or more MIS robotic arms to receive operating commands from a computing device(600) over a communication network and to perform minimally invasive surgeries based on the received operating commands; an actuation unit(340) and a pneumatic unit(500) for receiving the operating commands from computing device(600); a three dimensional(3D) printed collar(330) formed on a top surface of a front panel(341); a plurality of wire strings(360) at their first ends connected to the actuation unit(340) and extend from collar(330); a front portion(310) connected to second ends of the wire strings(360) and connected to pneumatic system(500) through pneumatics pipe(400) for air flow in front portion(310) for stiffness control.
