Cognitive Evolutionary Psychology: A prospective but temperate view

Great minds like Charles Darwin had long understood the importance of viewing humans through the lens of evolution and environmental necessities. Both cognitive and evolutionary psychologists propose that most (if not all) of our behaviour can be explained by appeal to internal cognitive mechanisms. Evolutionary psychology is more biologically informed whereas cognitive psychology is more contextual. Recently, a mingling of both the branches has produced a plethora of scientific experimental literature that could guide global framework designs of the mind in the future.
